Who are the Sweetwater All-Stars?
The Sweetwater All-Stars is a Wizard Rock band formed in 2009 by singer-songwriter Kelli "Sweetwater." The band originally had 4 members, but 3 of them have since decided to end their involvement. When the band was formed, all of the members were living in Lubbock, Texas, just a few short hours drive from Sweetwater, Texas...home of the Sweetwater All-Stars quidditch team! (Canon!) Since one of the band members actually heralded from Sweetwater, the name seemed fitting and Kelli hangs on to it because quidditch is rad.
There have been 2 albums released to date, with another scheduled to release in 2016. The Sweetwater All-Stars have played many shows around Texas and the United States, and toured along with Kwikspell, Miss Parkinson, and Rogue Bludger in 2011 as part of Tour De Firenze. Kelli has played at the Wampum Willow at Wrockstock twice, and is still available for shows.
"The Sweetwater All-Stars" is currently based out of Tacoma, Washington and will travel for performances as muggle-life obligations allow.

What is Wizard Rock?
Wizard Rock is original music written around the central themes, characters, and ideas of the Harry Potter books by J.K. Rowling. The purpose of Wizard Rock (and other lit-rock genres) is to engage listeners with books, and get people excited about literacy!
Wizard Rock is often kid-friendly, but it's not limited to the child/young-adult crowd! Plenty of normal adults LOVE wizard rock, and there is in-fact a wealthy repertoire of adult-targeted wizard rock. There's something for everyone!
Wizard Rock is officially recognized by the Library of Congress.

How can I get some Wizard Rock at my____?
First, hop on google, myspace, youtube, facebook, or any other internet source and explore some wizard rock bands. Find ones you like. If you already have a taste preference (or location preference), reach out to that band and ask them! Some bands have booking fees or travel requirements, but most really want to help out and will do so if they are able.
If you're putting together a charity album, most wrockers are into that, too.
As for The Sweetwater All-Stars, try me. :)
